Denise Busch: Principal Broker, Paramount Real Estate Services

For Denise Busch, giving back isn’t just something she does—it’s part of who she is. A principal broker at Paramount Real Estate Services, Denise grew up in the Macleay area of Oregon before spending 18 years in Washington with her husband, Steve, while working for State Farm. During that time, they raised two children: a son who now lives in Stayton, and a daughter who still lives in Washington with Denise’s two adored grandsons.

In 2016, Denise felt the pull of home and returned to the Sublimity–Stayton area. Shortly after, she pursued her long‑held interest in real estate, ultimately becoming a principal broker. “Paramount is like a small family,” Denise shares. “We all work together really well.” Her personal motto, “Serving as your realtor for life,” comes with a signature closing gift—a Cutco server which symbolizes her commitment to both homeownership and hospitality. It’s her way of saying she’s there to help clients not only find a home, but also serve up the next chapter of their lives.

Denise’s connection to Santiam Hospital & Clinics began through Executive Director of Community Services – Melissa Baurer, and quickly grew into something meaningful. She became an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and later assisted Santiam Hospital Disaster Services during their transition into Anthony Hall—an effort she is still proud of today.

Her commitment to community service runs deep. Denise is a member of the Stayton Area Rotary and participates in the North Santiam Service Integration Team, helping support local families and resources, including support of the Santiam Teen Center. She also volunteers for multiple Santiam Hospital & Clinics events, including the Fun Run and the always‑popular Medicare Rodeo. “I enjoy being part of the community—it’s a good way to meet people. It makes my heart happy!” she says. She also plays a special role for the hospital by providing community tours to prospective providers, showcasing the beauty, resources, and warmth of the area. “I enjoy Santiam Hospital,” she adds. “We have something really special here.”

Denise’s support of the Santiam Hospital & Clinics Foundation spans both sponsorship and hands-on volunteerism. She’s contributed to events like the Red Ball Express Dodgeball Tournament and the Santiam Canyon River Run, always showing up with a smile and a willingness to help wherever needed.

From serving clients to serving her community, Denise embodies what it means to invest in local well‑being. We are grateful for her continued partnership, generous spirit, and the many ways she helps make our region a better place.
